SPRING FEVER!

Have I mentioned that I'm a big fan of Mystery Science Theater 3000? I haven't? Now I have.
Joel and his two robots (Crow and Tom Servo) are trapped on the Satellite of Love, and forced to watch cheesy B-movies. (I won't go into Joel being replaced by Mike - that'll draw a lot of unfriendly fire.)
Once Youtube is back up, do a search on MST 3000, or MST3K...I can spend HOURS just watching. Ain't technology just the cat's pajamas?
Sometimes, they watch a short feature - in this case, it's a featurette named 'Spring Fever', and it's quite amusing. Google videos also has a few of them as well. I was hoping to find their take on 'Uncle Jim's Dairy Farm', but alas, it was not to be found.
Enjoy.

I LOVE Mystery Science Theater 3000!
My son and I used to watch it together on Sat. or Sun. AMs, and just laugh our asses off! (Much to the chagrin of my hub-he just didn't get, it, poor baby.
It's been a while since I've seen it-will have to keep an eye out for it.
Glad to know you're also a fan, KA.

It's wonderful that we're simpatico on so many levels, love.
Did you prefer Joel, or Mike?

I didn't watch many of the earlier ones, so I'm guessing I'm more familiar w/Mike. No real opinion, I guess.
I let the vid load while I was watching House. Just finished viewing Spring Fever. AHHHH...brings back the good ol' days. The maddening days of growing up around my uncle Harry, who could talk a subject to death, even if he hadn't had a mysterious visit from a character like Coiley! He particularly liked to talk about nuts, bolts, and magnets. Oy Vey!

Thanks...that was a funny bit!

Who was your preference?

karen - I suppose it was Joel. The show got a little funkier w/Mike, though he was funny too.
You might even say, Coily's buddy in the short was going on & on about springs somewhat...religiously. ;)

I love MST3k!!
I used to watch it a lot when it was on SciFi Channel. I don't know if it still is but I don't have that channel anymore.
My favorite character is Tom Servo.

Hi Sadie. I think I have yet to meet someone who doesn't like MTS3K.

My sister-in-law doesn't "get it".
It's mildly annoying.

MST3K ROCKED!!
I love watching Joel and the Bots mock old, 50's, Dept. of Education films.

Film Commentator (FC): See how Sally washes her face? Sally wants to be clean and fresh for Tommy's visit.
Tom Servo: Wow...a little OCD for Sally.
Crow: OUT DAMNED SPOT!

ROFLOL!

I wish I could find 'Uncle Jim's dairy farm'.
(2 young boys, 1 petting a cow)
Crow: "We love each other, & there's nothing you can do about it!"
