Stupid Design - Dystheism At Its Best

Neil De Grasse Tyson really buries the Goldilocks Effect in this short video from Beyond Belief '06.

It's a valid point: if we are indeed the apex of 'creation', stewards of all we observe, how is it that our planet alone is a lethal obstacle course, let alone the fact we can exist only on this world?

Enjoy.

I have borrowed that line about an entertainment complex within a sewage system.

(OFF Topic.
I thought you might enjoy the interview with Dawkins on TVO, The Agenda.

If you want to be really annoyed, watch the theist "debate" after the interview. (Just google The Agenda and click the video from May 10.)

Remy - you got my permission to use it (it's actually Tyson's line: long as you don't claim it, you're good.)

Oh, that was wonderful!
He really did nail it.
I just got my cable internet and this was the first video I watched!

karen - welcome to the world of DSL.
What I find amusing, is that Tyson's not an atheist. Not an xtian, either.

Really?
What is Tyson then?
