“WE’RE GOING IN ANYWAYS!”

What a surprise.

This news item, about one of my least favorite people in the world, the Shrub, surfaced today.

Bush told Blair determined to invade Iraq without UN resolution or WMD

Mon Mar 27, 2:13 AM ET
NEW YORK (AFP) - US

President George W. Bush made clear to British Prime Minister Tony Blair in January 2003 that he was determined to invade Iraq without a UN resolution and even if UN arms inspectors failed to find weapons of mass destruction in the country, The New York Times reported.

Man-o-man, am I pissed off. Sadly, not surprised in the slightest. Son of a bitch. Spoiled little Texan millionaire. Ain’t bad enough he helps screw up the economy, steals the election thanks to activist judges, he also makes (bad) decisions based on the little voice in his head.

Yeah, ‘god told him to’. Great basis to make decisions on. Let’s never mind this asshole was told, by Pat Robertson (in a rare moment of lucidity for that madman) that there’d be casualties, only to dismiss it with an egotistical shrug of his shoulders, and a “There won’t be any casualties.” Let’s just turn a blind eye to the obvious. Not to mention Iraq wants us out of there now.

Can you say ‘sock puppet’, boys and girls?

Thanks to stardust for this quote, which pretty much sums it up in a nutshell.

"President Dwight Eisenhower, Republican, uttered these words on November 8, 1954:"
"Should any political party attempt to abolish social security, unemployment insurance and eliminate labor laws and farm programs, you would not hear of that party again in our political history. There is a tiny splinter group, of course, that believes that you can do these things. Among them are a few Texas oil millionaires, and an occasional politician or businessman from other areas. Their number is negligible and they are stupid."

I say we impeach this bozo. Who’s with me?

Impeachment?

No, that'd be a goddamned booby-prize, for those who oppose all he stands for.

I'm sort of hoping he'll manage to change election laws and get a third consecutive term.
I'm hoping that the -circa half of america- (on a good, or rather, bad day) who's fellating this moron
will finally have to look in the mirror and see who it ACTUALLY is that's sending the U.S. into heretofore unimaginable debt,
who it is that is ACTUALLY
destroying democracy,
who it is that is ACTUALLY
sending their sons and daughters off to die for ignoble reasons...
Because it ain't Bush...
He's merely the facilitator...
No.
It's the average american voter.
May he/she get what they deserve.

Which, unfortunatly, they have.

I have to thank you for the first link on the page to the yahoo news article. I think it might be able to break this 'debate' I'm having with a Pseudo-Republican.

I'm sort of hoping he won't.
I'd like to think that most of my fellow citizenry would be up in arms, but unfortunately, since they'd still get to drive their SUV's, eat ice cream, IOWs, their precious little routines don't get perturbed, they may just shrug & go on w/their lives.
Which saddens me to no end.
If I move to Denmark, you got a spare couch?

Plus, I won't charge you for the floorspace needed to put you up.

So, do drop by.
