I’ve mentioned before, that I really liked this show. Sadly, it only went 2 seasons, and Adultswim didn’t renew.
Enjoy.

An atheist's viewpoints on religion, government, culture, adding friction to the fray. Will be talking about books occasionally, hence the title. Blunt, mocking (gently & otherwise), shootin' straight from the hip (hopefully), a dash of humor w/liberal doses of cynicism. Enjoy.

Hi there, sorry that this is completely unrelated but a while back you wrote the words “a touch, a veritable sting, forsooth!" I was wondering, assuming you may remember, if you could e-mail me (nanzvr@yahoo.com) or comment back where that is form if it’s not too much trouble, my best friend really wants to know and it’s really killing him. Thanks a million.

Hi Drunken (Ballerina? Wow, intriguing image).
Anyways, I lifted the phrase from 1 of the Sandman series by Neil Gaiman.
I'd always attributed it to Mercutio in Romeo & Juliet, but on checking, not there.
Hmm..bears further looking into.
haha yeah drunken ballerina is something my best friend came up with in the 8 grade as team name at something, always made me smile hoped it would do the same for somebody else. i think Sandman is exactly where he was trying to remember it from he is a huge Neil Gaiman fan, i've been meaning to read those i've heard good things. anyway thank you so so much you've been a great help
My pleasure, dear.
Cute video LOL It has been a long time but I am making a pathetic attempt at returning to blogging. Thought I would stop by and say "Hello" my friend :)
ITO! Hey, how's my favorite non-scientific creationist? ;)
I miss debating you, because the latest spate of 'new atheists' tend to flip out pretty easily if I examine their statements w/my usual critical eye.
& hello.
LOL ahh yes the New Atheism. Old atheism re-packaged with a heaping dose of "whiny, spoiled, accept my way or your an ass" attitude.
Be patient with them my friend. Afetrall, they are birthed from the generation of "Tolerance" ;)
"Non scientific"...ouch! One day back and the barbs are out? Nice touch my friend lol. Need I point out the mandated doctrinal "beliefs" of your own :)))
I look forward to stimulating conversation. Opposing views such as ours can have respectful discourse...to bad governments can't????
BTW I have been doing well. Life has taken a turn with me that has demanded a lot of my time and I have just found myself to mentally drained to be blogging over the last year and a bit. BUT the "bug" is grabbing a hold of me again. I may not able to pour as much into it but too much going on in my head to withdraw altogether.
It was good to connect with you again :)
PS - the 'non-scientific' "barb" is warranted. Weren't you the fella who presented a snow-bound day in Canada as proof that global warming is fake?
Not sure that was me unless it was said tongue in cheek? I don't know honestly.
My position regarding the subject is such:
I have a difficult time accepting that it is "man made". I find the position to be rather arrogant that man could actually credit himself for causing such "global catastrophe" all by himself in a matter of decades.
Secondly, how exactly do the purveyors of man made global warming explain the existence of Viking colonies in Greenland over 400 years ago where, back then, they were able to produce vegetation. Can't blame that one on the industrial revolution. Do we blame it on the methane in buffalo dung?
Not mention the "mean" temps have been consistently cooler this last decade. I find it more appropiate when some of the GW'ers now refer to it as climate change. Because really, with or without our existence on this planet climate always has and always will change.
My personal view is not to "deny" things are changing, I just find the man made global warming theory unconvincing. While many jumped on the AL Gore band wagon I leaned more towards what is happening outside the planet IE sunbursts for example.
I have a difficult time accepting that it is "man made".
I don't. Humans test atomic weapons all the time. That's bound to warp weather patterns. Dumping extremely toxic waste into the oceans.
I find the position to be rather arrogant that man could actually credit himself for causing such "global catastrophe" all by himself in a matter of decades.
I find it arrogant that Man assumes Earth was made for him, & that we are its stewards.
Also, if memory serves, you were the 1 to front the 'if man came from monkeys, why are there still monkeys' argument, which is highly unscientific & illogical.
